|Press Release #5 - Sunday, June 08, 2008|Day 3 was perfect
sailing weather; sunny and 7 - 12 knots. The racers were anxious to get
going and were on the course going up and down the wind prior to the
arrival of the Race Committee. Racing commenced on schedule with the
first warning signal at 1100 am. Four
races for the M 30s and three races in each of the other classes were
held. The racing was tight and the day turned some fortunes around for
the the leaders. Everything
was wrapped up on the water around 3 PM and all boats were tied up when
a thunderstorm hit as the awards were being given out.
